iOS 7 beta 3 glitch allows stock apps to be hidden [video]

One of my biggest – in fact THE  biggest – frustrations with iOS has always been the inability to hide stock apps, or delete them. For many apps like Mail, Safari, Calendar, Reminders etc. there are a handful of third party apps which are better. At least in my mind they are. I hate having unnecessary apps on my home screens or in folders that I don’t have an intention of using. Ever.
So it’s with great excitement that I learned of a neat little trick that allows you to hide stock apps in the beta version of iOS 7. The glitch was discovered by VBarraquito on Twitter, and a video was published be serial hacker, Dom Esposito over at AppAdvice.com.
Check out the tutorial below if you want to find out how to hide stock apps in iOS 7 beta 3:
As always with any glitch, or hack, there are particular things you need to do before trying to start the process off. They include making sure your first Home Screen is completely full and that apps you want to hide or placed in the dock. The rest of the process requires some fast moving and double clicking. But, the video above shows it all.
We’d love to hear from you if you try this out and if it works as well as shown in the video. Thankfully, the hack doesn’t include messing with any code buried deep within iOS, and so shouldn’t mess around with your phone too much. The worst you’ll get is a rebooting phone.
